Finding Balance: My Journey of Harmonizing Energies

I’ve recently realized that many of my struggles — in business, family, even in how I feel day-to-day — are connected to one simple truth: life is about balance.

For me, it often feels like I’m living with two strong energies inside. On one side, there’s the part of me that loves beauty, self-care, creativity, and flow. On the other side, there’s the structured, disciplined side that thrives on planning, order, and sometimes even soldier-like determination.

At times, these energies clash. I want to enjoy the creative flow of starting projects like DailyGlowVibe or PrinteeClub, but then my structured side pushes me into routines and discipline that can feel heavy. Or, I lean too much into discipline with my kids — asking (or yelling) for them to brush their teeth or clean their room — and suddenly I feel like the joy has slipped away.

Realizing That Balance Is Everywhere

Once I started reflecting on this, I noticed balance is not just something we talk about in a spiritual or emotional sense. It’s everywhere:

  • In our diet: too much of anything — sugar, fat, even “healthy” foods — creates imbalance in the body.
  • In art and design: harmony comes from balancing colors, lines, and shapes.
  • In physical activity: rest days are just as important as workouts.
  • In alcohol consumption: a glass may be fine, but too much and the body reacts instantly.
  • In our wardrobe: balance between casual and formal, colors and neutrals, makes it functional.
  • In makeup: a bold lip pairs best with a subtle eye, while heavy layers can mask natural beauty.

Everywhere I look, balance creates harmony, and imbalance shows right away.

Steps I’m Taking to Reconnect With My Own Balance

  1. Awareness first. I’ve started noticing when I lean too much into one energy — either being too rigid or too scattered. Awareness itself feels like a relief.
  2. Blending instead of choosing. I no longer try to decide “which energy is right.” Instead, I ask: how can my structured side support my creative flow? For example, setting a gentle content plan for my Instagram rather than forcing myself into a rigid schedule.
  3. Giving each energy its space. I allow moments of pure creativity (trying a new skincare product, writing reflections) and moments of structure (batching tasks, organizing my day). Both are valuable, but not at the same time.
  4. Trusting small rituals. Whether it’s journaling, skincare routines, or even tidying up my space, small daily practices help me bring the two sides together.

My Takeaway

Balance isn’t a final destination — it’s something we practice daily. It’s not about silencing one part of ourselves, but about letting each energy shine in the right moment.

I’m learning that the more I honor both sides — my love for beauty and my need for structure — the more grounded and joyful I feel. And maybe, that’s exactly the kind of balance life has been trying to teach me all along.
